What happens if I install the electric one and my truck battery dies and I need access to my stuff?

This bed cover does have an override function that allows you to roll open and close your bed cover manually.

How long the led light stay ON?

When cover is open, led light stays ON for 5 minutes. If the cover closes, led light stays ON for 5 seconds.
